Preaching from Acts 2, Vince Oliveri reminds us of the shared life we experience because of the gospel. Returning to our series from the Apostles' Creed, we see from John 14, four promises of what the Spirit of God desires to do in us today.

From John 19 we see that Jesus bore his own cross willingly, fulfilled the promise of scripture, and died as the true King in order to complete the work of salvation on the cross.

From John 19:1-16 we learn that Jesus overcame our shame. Enduring suffering and humiliation on our behalf, he reversed the curse of sin and shame on the cross.
