Revival is when God comes down to make himself overwhelmingly real to us. But the message of Isaiah 58 is that God will only awaken us as we truly humble ourselves, acknowledge our need and willingly spend ourselves in the needs of others.

The disciples were convinced that Christianity was highly relational. It is all the more important for us to learn to treat one another in a way that reflects the gospel of Christ.
