Although Peter and John had no formal training, they spoke with passion and conviction when they were brought before the Jewish leaders in Acts 4.  We learn that gospel boldness is not about swagger or arrogance and overconfidence, rather it is a freedom to speak, combined with a growing understanding of the gospel. The person who has tasted the healing power of God cannot help but speak about what they have seen and heard!

We feel the weight of injustice all around us. The second letter of Peter tells us that the return of Christ is certain, and that we can find hope in the great leveling righteousness of Jesus. This is the tenth sermon in a series on the Apostles' Creed.

We are reminded in John 21 that the gospel is a love story. It's the story of how God's love pursues, restores and transforms a lost people.

As Jesus goes on trial in John 18:28-40, we learn that there are three kingdoms that seek to capture the affections and loyalty of our hearts: the kingdom of religion, the kingdom of the world, and the kingdom of Christ.
