At the end of Isaiah we are given one last glimpse into Zion, the new heavens and the new earth.

Although attracted to many other things, God has created us to be attracted to, and find ultimate satisfaction in his glory. In Isaiah 60 we find that the city of God is the greatest attraction of all time.

In Isaiah 56 we're reminded that God's redemptive plan extends to all peoples.

From Isaiah 55, we see that humanity is offered an endless supply of feasts, but only one will truly satisfy. God's invitation is for us to come to His table freely offered to those in need, where we will find forgiveness, lasting satisfaction and joy.

Sharing from his own testimony in chapter 12, Isaiah joyfully proclaims that God is the beautiful music of salvation that has come alive in us.

From Isaiah 11 we learn that Jesus is the promised King and that his kingdom will be a peaceful kingdom.

One of the things we learn from Isaiah is that God is the only one who brings true, lasting hope. In Isaiah 9 Hope comes in the form of a child who will reign as king forever.

Apart from the bad news of the curse, there is no good news of the beautiful and righteous reign of Christ on the earth. Isaiah reminds us in chapter 4 that the "branch of the Lord" will bring joy, restoration and healing to all the earth.

This is the first Sunday of Advent, and the first Sunday in our preaching series from Isaiah, Your Kingdom Com. Today we are in Isa 1:1-6, "The Holy One of Israel".

Fear can keep us from acting on the God-given desire to tell others about Jesus Christ.  In 2 Corinthians 5, we learn that the love of Christ is the key to overcoming fear in gospel conversations.

From Luke 15 we see that God tirelessly and passionately pursues sinners. Jesus is the friend of sinners, and scandalously so. This is the second sermon from our Multiply series.

In Psalm 69 we see that those that God loves still face suffering, and that suffering may come because of our faith in God. But because Jesus entered into our suffering and ultimately gave his life on a cross for our sins, our suffering is not eternal, but through him brings us redemption and reconciliation to God.

Psalm 68 celebrates God's care and protection for his people—and not just for his people, but for gentiles who do not yet know Him.

In Psalm 63 we read of David's praise lifted to God in spite of dire circumstances, and we discover that the deep well of God's lovingkindness will satisfy us more than any other source.

Psalm 61 shows us one of the paths to trusting the Lord in the midst of hardship and pain. Pastor Michael Wu reminds us that when we go to the Lord in prayer, remember his faithfulness and begin to trust again in his promises, we will be able to give praise to our God who changes sorrow into Joy.

How do we overcome suffering? The Psalmist calls us to sing through our feelings of abandonment and rejection. In Psalm 60 we see David cry out to God, find hope in the promise of God and a renewed dependance on the Lord for the battle before him.

One of the more underrated stories from the Gospels, the ascension of Jesus is the sign of God's glory, and stands as a confirmation of all that the Savior said, and did. 

From John 17:6-19 we learn that in his last hours Jesus prayed that God would keep his disciples faithful, grant them joy, make them holy, and send them on mission.
